Start with statistics basics, like average, median, standard deviation. For resources I recommend Wikipedia and "The Manga Guide to Statistics"[1].

There's another one for statistics and a plethora of others for sicences and engineering.

Amazon shows a list of books bought by customers who looked at your book (towards the bottom after the reviews). That might be a good place to start.

I have the Database one, and it is outstanding. I absolutely would recommend any of other other subjects for folks in those courses. They're entertaining, well-written, and informative. And for any age group who wants to make a stab at understanding difficult concepts.
