I’ve forgotten whether I did or didn’t feed my dog almost every day for the last 10 years, leading to all over the place food schedules for her (generally overfed). FINALLY I got around to looking for a cheap fix to it and found this thing on amazon! It’s ~9.50 and I have it ON the container of food so there’s less of a chance I’ll forget. It’s worked so so so well for me so far!

One of my favorite Amazon purchases.

I love this ottoman though it is a bit above the price range.

On the cheaper side, i love little things to make your house feel like home:

-this sponge holder

-this oven mitt

-a darling windchime

-or these helpful moms

EDIT: i also find this to be hugely helpful in my household!

Best way to get her to stop begging is to stop rewarding the begging with food - which can be hard in a family where multiple people are responsible for feeding the dog and obviously nobody wants to make sure her dinner gets skipped!

I'd recommend finding some sort of tool that works for your family. A fridge magnet like this, a group text message every night, moving her bowl to the top of the food container to signal she's been fed, etc. It just has to be something everyone will use consistently.

We got this plastic slider chart for the dog which is a similar concept. It is a life changer in a house of 7 people. I just free feed my cat because he isn’t very food motivated.

YTA.

Have your roommates buy this and then be an adult who lives with other adults.

If you can’t imagine being helpful without getting something in exchange, ask them to take over a different chore, like taking out the garbage. You are sharing a household, and those dogs are a part of that household. If you don’t like that, move out. It’s absurd that you have the ability to feed them but are refusing to do without being payed.
