Basically it was about how most people think they wouldn't have a problem with it, but irl it actually pushes some buttons they didn't know they had. Women realize the stress that being the breadwinner brings and men realize how much of their self-worth derives from bringing home the bacon. Basically, it's a much more complex issue than people tend to realize before they encounter the situation themselves.
