im using the craigslist/ebay. if you want something new and are really low on cash and dont want to bother searching for fitting parts i would suggest something like this https://www.amazon.com/Timetec-2133MHz-PC4-17000-Unbuffered-Computer/dp/B00G2QI0XA/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Skylake-Motherboard-H110M-Pro-VD/dp/B017NIDYH2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1504805405&sr=8-2&keywords=h110

If I did decide to purchase, I would require a new motherboard, a new CPU, new memory, as well as a new power supply unit. The only components I'd salvage are the graphics card and the storage. If I wanted a comfortable CPU upgrade, I'd be looking at ~$280 for CPU + mobo, ~$60 for sufficient memory, and ~$40 for a beefy enough PSU.

That's nearly double my original budget, so unless I'm overestimating my needs, or someone is opening a charity, I don't think I can do that.
