Also consider a Chromecast Audio or an Airplay Receiver for Apple for better streaming over WiFi.

The 1Mii B06 should work just fine or look for another with Bluetooth 4.2 and aptX. Or a 4.1 AUKEY for $15.

Not sure if the 2 you listed have the latest specs.

This is the one I’ve got. I use it with Spotify and never have any issues of cutting out. I havnt tried any others but I’m happy with this one

A headset means there's a microphone, what you're looking for is wireless headphones and there are tons of bluetooth models but you would want an AptX compatible BlueTooth receiver for them to connect to. What's your budget?

[Amazon Bluetooth adaptor](Bluetooth Receiver, Hi-Fi Wireless Audio Adapter, 1Mii Bluetooth 4.2 Adapter with 3D Surround aptX Low Latency for Home Music Streaming Stereo System https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078J3GTRK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_4lLdXsQ59T3Oq)

I got this one from Amazon, works perfectly with my Kenwood KA-6000.

I've got the R1700BT set as my computer speakers, and I never use the bluetooth. It works fine, it's just that by the time I've changed the input channel I could have whatever was on my phone up on my desktop.

My wife wanted bluetooth on her R1280T set so I bought her an adapter and it's way more convenient than what's on my set. If you didn't already know, at least the lower end Edifier powered sets play through both inputs at once.

You'd have to listen to both to know which you'd like better.

You just plug the bluetooth receiver in the inputs on the speakers: Here is an example https://www.amazon.com/B06-Plus-Bluetooth-Receiver-Streaming/dp/B078J3GTRK/

I think you're wasting the echo.

You can get better BT receivers for $20 and Alexa can be intrusive.

Plug one of these senders into your TV optical out (TOS) for better range and multi-device.

Look for APTx and Low Latency products to avoid lip lag.

Is there any lag with the Echo? I've only used it for music.

Edit: Amazon's choice APTx/LL BT Receiver

I see the downside if you want to project music from the Echo. I'd turn off the TV momentarily and make a BT connect Echo-to-Speakers.

I use this with the standard Google home.

It stays on all the time and I simply ask Google to turn it's Bluetooth on or off to control it's audio. Seems to work fine for me.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078J3GTRK/ref=cm_sw I recommend this Bluetooth receiver. It will turn on when you turn your car on and turn off when your car goes off. Phone connects almost instantly once powered on
