Yeah so that math doesn't work out, also Samsung uses a proprietary charging standard for their "rapid charge" which is why they stuck with QC 2.0 for so dang long because they wanted to use what they developed over the years.
Also the charging pad you linked outputs 9w and the apple brick outputs 5w, so... Yeah.
If anything with your new wireless charging stand I would get a better charging brick like this one
I'm not an engineer and I don't know electrical engineering, but I just think it's underpowered maybe?
Edit: I'd like to buy one to test the wireless charging features,I wonder if because of heat regulation it might lower the charging speed directly on the phone or just the wireless pad?
Or maybe if there are too many devices would it slow down the charging speed?
In the Kickstarter they have some pictures that show multiple iPhones charging at the same time, I wonder if they all charge at full speed?
Nowhere in the FAQ do they indicate that information, there's also a lot of fluff in their pitch page, why would the type of watch band loop matter in regards to charging? Also why would they state, the charging cable is longer (from a different cable)?
It's also made from "high-class fabric and PU leather" Whats high class fabric?
Edit: edited the Amazon link to a more proper charger since it's a 30w device
Double Edit: looks like YouTube reviews show there are several issues with the charging pads being sent out
or if you're saving a few bucks
@MfJonesy: Can you tell me which ANker usb-c charger you're using. I'm looking at these two, and not sure which one to pick.

I also recently picked up this charger solely for its smaller footprint
