I've always used fish grills. I find them a little more versatile. They work on a campground fire pit by just laying them across the top and they work on a backcountry fire by propping them up on a rock and laying another rock on the handle. They can be used for just about any type of food. They can be stuffed under the compression straps on a backpack. They eliminate the need for utensils for flipping food and most importantly they trap the food between two grills ensuring you never sacrifice your dinner to the fire gods.
