The whitin trail running shoes on amazon are cheap af ($3x.xx), zero drop, stupidity comfortable wide toe box, & surprisingly durable. A pair lasts me 500+ miles. Better than 4 models of altras I have used & better than Lowa renegade.
Edit: boots suck & you should definitely go for trail runners. They are less hot, more comfortable, & you can cross rivers in them much easier. They dry faster than boots & the pair I’m suggesting slip on & you don’t have to deal with bringing flip flops or crocs with you. Literally the best shoes I’ve ever had. I have over 1000 miles between 2 pairs. 4000+ mi hiking experience
