Yeah, the design seems to be based off of those waterproof card holders, but I never knew anyone who had one of these so I can’t attest to it they were waterproof or not. I feel like they had bad reviews, though.

Can you not use something larger? A little over half inch wide and less than a half inch thick, you can go with an waterproof id case or like this
