>This book examines landmark cases establishing women’s legal rights, offering accounts of the litigants, history, parties, strategies, and theoretical implications.
I thought it was a great book because it very thoroughly discusses context, historical and otherwise. The authors analyze every detail of each case from pretrial all the way up through each level of the legal system. They also carefully scrutinize the Supreme Court decisions and underlying rationales, and foreground each decision's implications. The chapters on Vorchheimer and VMI were brilliant.
