I would suggest investing in a scale that is able to measure more than just your overall body weight since it's not a reliable metric to use. I like the yunmai scale: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ES5B024/ it's more expensive at about $50 but cheaper than the fitbit scale and much cheaper than they were just a year ago.
