It might not work correctly if they have a different bracket design from yours, or if they don't have the slot to hold them to the case on the back.

I don't suppose you mean the slot covers. Otherwise I don't know what you mean. I've had a case once with some lever-like thing that held all PCIe parts so that you didn't have to use screws at all.
