I'm looking for a mid-length trench coat that has this punk-style to it. Has a lot of pockets, zippers, or buttons. Any keywords to help me better find this style would be helpful, as entering "punk" would give me gothic fashion. Also note that it can't be a winter coat because I'm from the tropics, so only lightweight one-layer only.

Amazon has plenty of this for women but none for men.

It's getting rainy here and I need a cool jacket.

I know in-store they go up to 6X at Burlington, maybe online they just limit it. I definitely had a purple peacoat I really liked from Burlington in a 4x!

Have you tried Amazon, too? I know they allow you to search up to a 6X - this one comes in Orange, Black, and White and is in your price range, or there's something like this one with a hood or this one which doesn't come in camo but does come in army green?

Edit: Caution that with Amazon you should definitely look at reviews to see whether they're called out for not being true to size. It would suck to embarrass your student by getting something that runs small by mistake!

I bought mine from Lord & Taylor over a year ago in olive green, and I get compliments whenever I wear it. I love the hidden hood!

I don't know how cold it is there right now so this may not be warm enough, but I recently got this rain jacket/wind breaker and I really love it. It is not a heavy jacket, but I like it because I can wear it when it is warmer out and not be too hot and when it gets cold out it is roomy enough to fit my North Face jacket or a hoodie under. I'm also a size 12 and wear a 36C bra and I got it in the size 40, it is roomy, but I might go up a size to accommodate a larger bust. I personally think it is really flattering.

They have a yellow one with a grey hoodie now. I have the red and I love it. I got mine a size larger than I usually wear so I could layer a hoodie under it.

Perhaps this one? I searched up "blue army jacket" and got plenty of similar results.

I was figuring a couple of cardigans or shawls (I usually keep one in my purse even when it's 100f here, just because I get chilly on the train or in shops) and maybe this jacket in case of rain or chilly nights (Google was saying an average of 56F at night) - but I also only got the jacket last week, so I'm still figuring out how warm it is.

Yeah, I definitely wasn't thinking full on wellies or anything, but these are the only decent flats I own right now and those are definitely not great in even a light drizzle. So really I'm just looking for anything sturdy and cute (preferably in a nice quality leather) that comes pre-treated to at least be water resistant (if not full on waterproof) - I just only ever recall seeing leather boots marked water resistant and never anything summery. I do also have waterproofing spray and I k ow how to use it, but it plays better with, say, a nice solid leather flat than with t-strap sandals.

These are the closest thing to proper rain boots that I've considered and I'm not particularly enthused by them.
