This is from my daughter's wish list. Her birthday is tomorrow. Her grandparents have bought her some toys. But she lives dresses and we live in a cold climate where most kids dresses aren't suitable for winter.
Amazon has affordable kids clothing in a wide range of sizes for girls: Dress 1, Dress 2, dress 3. You didn't mention the boys outfits so I'm assuming they're acceptable but Amazon does have suits for boys as well. My particular favorite although that one is a bit expensive.
Edit: English is hard and my meds are kicking in.
From Target, we got Cherokee dresses (they were in stores around Easter time and was the perfect colors (blush pink and ivory for our wedding) and from Amazon, we got these dresses but in blush pink (for our wedding in Sept they had this in light pink):

This would look really cute with a flat mid piece and shoe string ties on the shoulder. I bet you have so much fun doing this!
Similar to this. But I'd opt for straight across the neck/chest and shoe string ties! And probably keep the bottom the same as you have it. I think the string ties might provide more room and make it easier to get off and on as well.
