Even if youre not interested in using amazon those are a few key words to look for and the ideal type you need for a baby so small. I know the only issue with this type of suit is depending on the type of harness for stroller it might not buckle well.

I bought a fleece coverall thing like this it is thin enough to not cause issues with the car seat, but warm enough and keeps baby covered while getting into the car. There is a hood and cuffs over feet and hands. Once at the car I would place in the seat and then toss on a blanket.

>how to get my toddler into her car seat with no coat

I bought one for my toddler when she was a baby last winter, and now we've got another one that we use all the time. It's perfect and safe for riding in a car seat because it's not bulky at all, it's warm as hell, and it's also pretty cheap for what it is. We have a parka for my kid too? But honestly we only put that on her if we'll be walking outside for awhile, or if for some reason we have to park super far away from something and it's really cold and/or windy or I expect her to fall into the snow or something (i.e., don't go sledding in it).

Also a mom friend of mine has two kids, 2.5 and 5 months, and she seriously wears the baby on her front in the Moby Wrap and the toddler on her back in an Ergo. She's about 110lbs soaking wet and pulls this off like it's nothing. I am both awestruck by and terrified of her.

Not sure if you were asking about for yourself or baby. I haven't figured out myself as I'm due March 1 but so far have a super small belly that I'm hoping I can fit into my oversize coat. For baby I feel the same way--I don't want to spend $50 on something he will probably only wear a handful of times. So I put this on our registry and someone already got it for us so I've seen it in person and it's freaking adorable. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074T1KJTF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_5ZB1Bb50M4E7N
