That's probably because the vast majority of this merchandise is aimed at young boys, and young boys don't care about Gamora. She exists for the older male audience who don't, with the exception of some exceptionally socially retarded individuals, spend a lot of money on that kind of branded merchandise.

You seem to be operating under a set of delusions, or perhaps it's just a general ignorance. Here's reality: The Marvel Cinematic Universe exists first and foremost to generate Intellectual Property that can be branded onto merchandise and sold to young boys. That's why Disney bought Marvel.

Disney already controls a majority of the girl's market through its Princesses intellectual property. They were unable to make major headway in the boys market with their various attempts to create IP in-house, so they purchased Marvel and Lucasfilm, which have always had very large male audiences.

Young boys see girls as an outgroup because they are in a stage of psychosexual development where they are forming a masculine identity and differentiating themselves from girls (and their mothers), which is probably why the young male group this merchandise is aimed at doesn't perceive Gamora (or Black Widow) as an integral member of the team.

Disney, like any large corporation, is only interested in mass producible merchandise. The lack of merchandise for the female characters is reflection of the size of the audience for that merchandise. Little boys don't want Gamora bedsheets, and little girls don't want them in sufficient numbers (i.e. millions of units) to justify their production.

>You can pull up two pieces of merch.... cool?

You gave some examples, I gave some counter-examples. The action figure example is easy to bust, as clearly Gamora figures exist. Then there is your other examples:

>Or on bedspreads, blankets, plates, t shirts, literally..... anything besides like.... stickers.

And this true to some extent. The focus is most definitely on the four male characters, and Gamora isn't featured as heavily...but she's present.

I mean, I already showed you the pillowcase. That one goes with a blanket and bedspread that doesn't feature Gamora. So she only shows up on one side of pillowcase, but she's there.

Then there's this blanket, which has her along with the rest of the Guardians. Or this party set, where again, she's present but also excluded.

The thing is, you see the exact same thing happen in reverse. Go look at Disney Princess merchandise. Male characters, who are typically already thin and underwritten to the point that half of them can stand in for each other without anyone noticing, are almost entirely excluded from the merchandise. Because, duh, it's for little girls, and little girls identify with the Princesses, not their boring love interests.

I'm moving soon too! In a week from today, exactly. I'm moving off to an apartment for college. Because of this, I have an entire wishlist of household stuff that I'll need. It's the wishlist called "Stuff I Actually Need", which is full of cool and cheap household items someone will need when moving into their first place and also school supply stuff- just ignore the school supply stuff.

As for a specific item, you should get one of these shower curtains

Other notably awesome things I've found that you should get include:

Name: "Doodle Duvet"

$60 - $80

The duvet itself seems to just be normal fabric with a lined paper pattern on it. The markers are simple wash-out fabric markers.

This is really nice in my opinion :)

I don't really have anything in the way of punk or morbid on my list, but I guess this is pretty unusual.
