Even better deal, I just found it on Amazon for <$200(price varies by size between $169 and $194). https://www.amazon.com/Lucky-Brand-Womens-Major-Jacket/dp/B01ETQ1JA0/ Prices on Amazon literally change from one minute to the next though, so if you want to go with this option pull the trigger soon. Just be careful as some of the sizes aren't fulfilled by Amazon(hopefully yours is). Good luck!

I'm thinking about buying a really thick, soft, and cozy longline cardigan at some point to wear around the house this winter + for indoors wear or layering under a coat when I go out in cold weather--I work from home and wear a couple of thin cotton Old Navy longline cardigans all the time but often find myself having to put on another layer at home because they're not warm enough.

I have about $20 of store credit at a local boutique that I need to use up at some point, and was thinking about this felted blazer/cardigan thing they have from Lush (I think it's the same model I linked to)--super dense, fuzzy acrylic/wool blend, feels very nice, but the blazer styling looks kind of sloppy to me because I expect more structure from a blazer-type collar and this is a sweater so it's kind of saggy. It's $70. They have it in cream and gray (pics of both of them held closed and the gray one left hanging open). Thoughts on this? (Also, in the store, I thought the cream color looked significantly more polished for some reason, but now I think they both look about the same in the photo.) I would wear it over pants, not the wrap skirt I have on in the photo.

Madewell is also having a 20-30% off sale and I was considering this sweater, probably in the tobacco brown color, which is also super fuzzy and nice and has both wool and alpaca, but has gotten some negative reviews as far as pilling. But I could get this sweater that I think has a nicer fiber content for just about the same sticker price ($70-80) as the Lush one if I buy while it's on sale.

Was also eyeing this Uniqlo wool coatigan, looks pretty, 100% wool, and the price is right, but reviews say it's itchy and I really want something super soft.

I ordered this jacket at 70% off, this scarf at 30% off, and this dress for an upcoming party at 20% off and I honestly couldn't be happier with all of them, they're marvelous. Especially the first two. :)

Happy (early) 30th Birthday!

I have a hard time finding dresses that I like too. Torrid has some decent ones but check out ASOS Curve as well!

I also really enjoy creating "going-out" looks that emphasize my assets. A standard outfit generally includes: Torrid mid-waisted jeans, a tucked-in lower cut tank, a light structured jacked, and heels. You can dress it up by using a blazer or dress it down by tossing on a jean long-sleeve. It pulls the attention to the center of the outfit and creates one line. The un-zipped jacket hides the love handles and often creates enough of a shadow to hide the tummy line.

Just a pretty basic idea of the outfit: https://www.amazon.com/Agnes-Orinda-Lightweight-Drawstring-Utility/dp/B07GBV9V75

I'm not super familiar with jean jackets, but I would try and find something that hits close to your natural waist: not too long, not too short. An open-front cardigan would also be cute and not terribly warm:

I'm a certified plat level gift recommender. I have many ribbons in my drawers you can say. Computing these 3 keywords: elephants, nurse, country music. 1. I would pay off my debt ASAP, and then use the rest for travelling!

  2. I would love some new living room furniture. Or just small things to hang on the walls etc.

  3. I must say, this one is pretty classy

  4. Slaughterhouse Five and The Sirens of Titan are both great books by Kurt Vonnegut! The Sirens of Titan is more sci-fi. Also,
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

  5. This floral leather jacket is pretty cool. As is this bomber jacket. Also, who doesn't love a classic suede boot

  6. This turtle pendant is pretty cool, and you get to open the oyster yourself to get the pearl so it's fun too.

  7. /u/SnarkyPatrotion deserves to be gifted because I have decided we're new friends. Awesome taste in music (I never get to meet other people who know who Valencia is!) and we share a love of tattoos.

Thank you! The main characteristic of the havah is a long left sleeve that covers the safe hand. As such, I don't know that it would be practical to wear to any real-life event, but it was a great cosplay! In total, I think the pattern uses 8 yards of fabric ($120+ in my case) so you could always watch for sales. The most affordable option would be to modify an existing dress. If I recognized it correctly, one Jasnah cosplayer at DragonCon modified this dress on Amazon to turn it into a havah and it looked great!

I don’t know if this is the same one, but based one personal experience, it’s the one you should get. It’s so comfy and I buy them for my friends with matching slippers as a gift!

They're a bit dated, and since it's not really popular, it's tricky to find the right look. Lately they tend to be used mainly for formal events, like this or this, or way too casual like this. It might not be too bad if it's a bit longer and jacket-like such as this.

Before I clicked on the link I was going to recommend this one! I have it in two colors and love it. I was also considering this one.

I had the same question! Their stuff (not the same design hoodie) on amazon gets good reviews, which is promising.
