The other end was just flopping around?

No - you misunderstood. He didn't have an anti-static wristband that he forgot to ground... he wasn't wearing an anti-static wristband at all.

He was wearing one of those live-strong type bracelets

Here you go comrade.

How much was the WASR? I picked up some AK mags before Colorado banned the high cap but still haven't got a rifle yet :(.

Looking good! Be careful with those rubber bands though! they can weaken your dreads. I'd suggest buying headbands like these to prevent that.

Also: Be careful when crocheting, its SUUUUPER easy to break hair when doing it and severely weakening the dread. I crocheted mine for the first month and then stopped and stuck to palm rolling them with damp hands. works like a charm. now I just Crochet when I feel its absolutely necessary.

Edit: Made it less annoying to the eyes.

I rode through deserts and sun that lasers you dead. These items might help:

I'm wary of skin cancer. I'm making the switch from long distance biking to long distance hiking, and when I was biking through the desert I always wore knee covers, arm covers, and a hat thing I found for under my helmet.

I would simply rather cover up than gamble with burns and/or cancer :/

North-east Montana ain't so bad weather-wise, it gets hot — 90 or 100 degree days are common, 110 isn't unheard of — but it's not near as hot as a southwestern state, and not as humid as a southeastern state.

If you're working outside a lot, a neck cooler and a neck shade can be a big help.

If you have testicles, Gold Bond Medicated Powder is a summer life saver.

Try these! I have a huge head and they fit me, lol.

This is the headband I'm currently using. It's very soft and very stretchy! Other headbands would always feel very tight on my head and I'd feel like my strands were breaking off, but this one's very gentle and you can also wear it in different styles. Only problem is, I want ALL of the colors. :/

I was going to buy one for under the helmet, since my head sweats so much. I instead bought an Under Amour Skull Cap. It has pretty much solved my head sweat issues and my helmet fits so much better when wearing it.

I really like my Halo Anti-Freeze headband. Thick enough to stop windchill on the ears but easily fits under my helmet. The sweat blocker strip on the front does a really good job of keeping sweat out of my eyes.

I keep a Buff around my neck. It's always there; I pull it up and blow my nose on it. I feel like I get some reactions when out in public but it's a great system and I don't care what people think. https://www.amazon.com/12-Headband-Prints-Lightweight-Constructed/dp/B00YFYO742/ref=sr_1_4?s=sports-and-fitness&ie=UTF8&qid=1479563345&sr=1-4&keywords=buff
