If you can't swap out the mirror for a medicine cabinet, try finding a narrow cabinet like this for next to the sink. Could do a taller one than that.
You could also install some small floating shelves like this on either side of your mirror. You would want to take some care to try to keep the items "clean" looking by using prettier packaging and grouping by color.
For the counter top, if you could try and narrow down the few items that make sense to keep out, give them a facelift by putting them in nicer countainers, and have a small tray they are kept on like this or this, it will be more visually pleasing.
If you have space on another wall, you could hang some baskets like this so items wouldn't be 100% visable.
If nothing else, maybe consider doing a purge of items and deciding where else in your house would be reasonable to keep certain items (for example, the things you might use once per week or less).
Also fake plants can be nice.
Here is a run down that should be helpful:
I recently got this one as a birthday gift. I haven't put it together yet.
In Japan (and I guess in China) they made "stair cases" that were pieces of portable furniture with cabinets in the side. I think it was something like this:

But drawers COMING OUT THE FRONT? If someone leaves a drawer open, you are screwed if you are coming downstairs. No way to close it other than to try to tap it with your foot. If you are carrying a load of laundry, you will likely step in the drawer, fall down and break a leg - if not your neck.
This is a very dangerous design!
You might simply look for a small decorative wooden chest that you can keep all the dice in.
Perhaps something like this?
Then frame the comic.
My condolences on your loss.
How much money do you have to spend on this project?
The Stack-On are pretty cheap, but admittedly do not have combination locks, but I suspect you could easily add a Combination Padlock and keep the key lock unlocked.

There are a range of School-type Lockers that could be locked with a combination padlock.

I think the CheapLockers link is Australia, but I'm sure similar school lockers are available from other sources. At this point I am simply presenting concepts.

Home Depot actually has a pretty large selection of storage cabinets.

The Amazon link above is a 48" locker for about $87. Do you have guns longer than 48".
For additional security, the Amazon Locker could be bolted or screwed to the floor, or very bolted/screwed to the wall.

If you go to the Stack-On Website and select "Safes and Security", under Lock Type, you can choose Combination Lock -

I suspect the price of these is going to be a bit higher.
Again, how much do you have to spend and how far do you want to take it?

what about these?
I have something like this one
I'm not sure that you would want stands that are 5-6 tall. If you want something that high just get some furniture and put them on it. Some shelves on either side would do nicely. I'm thinking something like these this tall shelf unit would be good. Of course you're spending more than some stand but you're getting some usable storage too.
I bought a smallish oriental (I’m saying it) basket weaved dresser. It only weighs 12 lbs empty and the drawers pull right out.

That's awful...sorry to hear about the damage to your lenses.
I am paranoid about the same thing happening to me. Fortunately, I have my Rift in a spare room that I can draw the blinds any time of the day without bothering anyone.
I also found a floor standing cabinet that is great for keeping the Rift dust free and more importantly shielded from direct sunlight.
See it here.
It's a neat little cabinet and well worth the investment > Amazon UK
Yeah, I thought of something like that (the suitcase). I like the idea of having compartments and "room to grow", as it were. I'm also looking at stuff like blanket chests (since they're large) and possibly just adding an insert into one.

Something like that could hold throes and some of the smaller sex furniture items, in addition to the myriad of straps and cuffs and whatnot.
This will make it so it doesn't look like a bomb went off under my bed D= no longer will I find pop tarts and other random things....
Change jar
Do you utilize your under-the-bed space? Because you should!
Little boxes on the hillside.
MY FRIDAY WILL BE GREAT, MY FRIEND.
I bought it from Costco a couple years ago, it's something similar to this
https://www.amazon.com/Homestar-Cube-Fabric-Black-Brown/dp/B01M2D8C9C/ref=asc_df_B01M2D8C9C/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=192207932828&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4428081292091002362&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9015303&hvtargid=pla-301311988062&psc=1
I rent otherwise I'd look into trying to fill the space better. There's no bathroom storage and very little counter space as you see. I like the item that you and ldm5711 linked to, but sadly the Mrs/roommate doesn't. I think she's looking for something taller and with shelves for example this if wasn't 11.2" x 13.5".
You are most welcome!
Here it is - https://www.amazon.com/IKEA-ASIA-Storage-Table-Acacia/dp/B07H79NHKV/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_194_img_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=K7GBHK11Y93P6TNBNRHN
It's called HOL storage table.
