Best surfing fins according to redditors

i would get a basic flex fin shape, approximately 8-9", something like this.

Future and FCS brand name fins are expensive as shit. I personally like Captain Fin because they're still brandname but they're $15-$30 cheaper than the big boys. Plus I like how they look and feel under my board. that's what matters the most.

Ho Stevie sells thrusters for like $30. Some reviews say that the futures tabs are a little bit too big for the boxes and some people have to sand them down a little bit, but that's the price for saving $60 i guess :)

I think they come in thruster sets as well. I usually just go for mid sized and whatever colors look best on my board

Just about every surfboard made in the last 10 years uses FCS1/2 or Futures fins. Looks like this board is using FCS 1 (but double check on that). You can order a quad setup pretty cheap on amazon. I use the ho stevie fins cuz i'm cheap.

in my area, every surf shop carry either original futures or futures compatible fins

if you don't want to buy an original futures fins - looks at captain fin or true ames or any other brand without fcs in its name

this looks like it might be enough depth and area. would you say this would be the inbetween point of my 8.5 kinda rakey fin and your yater spoon. and do you think ill feel a difference if i go to the in between fin, or best i jump straight to the big boy.
