This stuff, the greatest condiment ever. Specifically this brand too, and you'll often see it in the grocery store wrapped in tan paper, but it's the same thing.
Whole Foods or Amazon has Annie’s Worcestershire sauce, which is vegan (contains no animal products).

Nice! You should try to cut your meat against the grain for a better consistency with chewing / tenderness. I probably wouldn't put wine in their either, it would add way too much acid or counter-act the umami IMO. I use a similar recipe with these that usually turns out pretty solid. I use kikkoman lite soy sauce instead of braggs but probably doesn't make a big difference.

A couple brands make a vegan version but it’s also easy to make your own.

This is the brand I am using...haven't tried any others.
Annie’s vegan Worcestershire is good to have around for recipes.

I am not a fan of the Annie’s worcestershire, but The Wizard brand is delicious. Ignore the inflated price on Amazon, though.
That sounds so awesome!
You got me thinking though, so I did a little bit of research and found THIS little beauty!
It even ships to where I am, I think I'll be experimenting in a few weeks!
Annie's tastes exactly like the 'real' thing too.
I’ve heard the secret was Worcestershire powder
Edit: check out these Amazon reviews.
