My '19 kit didn't fair too well after one wash either, but not as bad as you're describing.
If the letters are still attached, you can realign them and use an iron and parchment paper to reattach the letters/numbers.

I only hand wash it now. My '17 5Stripe kit is still fine after 50 washes in the machine.
I could rant on how much I dislike Adidas, but we'll leave that for another day...

Do it just like this shirt, only with Miggy's smiling face instead of the pug. Hell you could do one for Arthur Blank, Tata, and the other DPs/Players as well. Make them collectable like McDonald cups.
Also, instead of a name on the back, just make it the quote "Atlanta is not a sports town".
It's a bit of an effort, bit I didn't want to hang them over anything so you couldnt see the whole scarf. So I picked a hallway that already had high picture rail. Then bought Picture rail hooks and attach them to these clips. The result is this. I like it, anyway.
