EDIT 2 - you asked for websites! This one has an awesome quick start guide and lots of other good stuff. This one has some useful tools. These are the sites of the authors of the books I posted above, I have both books and love them dearly. There are also a TON of data online if you google around!
Just stress - as an undergrad pre-Med student who’s studying for the MCAT & taking a full course load among other things, it just amounts to stress. Cortisol levels (stress hormone) are increased & thus make me retain a small “tire” around my lower waist. It’d probably help if I worked out more & ate better, but don’t have time this semester! I use “sweet sweat”. Read reviews & look at answered questions to see what size people with your frame and weight ordered! That’s what I did and mine fits perfectly. It helps the tire lose the water weight around problem areas, so it may not be extremely permanent unless you keep with it
