I know they are flak jackets but I'm not sure if they are half jackets, flak jacket, or straight jackets. There also seem to be a few sizes that could come into play and versions like XL, 1.0, or 2.0. I was given the glasses by a friend that had them given to him. I'm looking to buy a replacement set of lens, due to the level of scratches these came with, mail will take a couple of weeks to reach me. I believe I found them here. I used the numbers on the inside of the left temple to give me the model number.

Edit: /u/oranjeboven figured out what I was looking for and I was able to make the purchase on these lens as well as replacement nose kit. Thanks for the help.

So I bought these in an Oakley shop about 6 years ago and I've no idea what they're called and can't find a match on their website. As you can see, I'm in desperate need of new lenses, and am 98% sure I need ordinary half-jackets. Can someone confirm if the following are both valid, and what the differences are between them please? Your help is greatly appreciated.

what worked temporarily for me was using some of my diabetes supplies. I had about 5 different colors of ear socks for my Flak 2.0 sunglasses and all of them looked crappy after years. it worked and lasted for probably around 2-3 weeks. they got a little tacky but nothing like it originally was. they're cheap enough to replace. YMMV.

 

I used Unisolve. It helps remove the adhesive on my insulin pump sites. I tried the hot water, alcohol, boiling them, dish soap and nothing removed how sticky they were. I tried this on a cotton ball and it worked.
