You've just got to get creative based on your preferences and bike's setup. I typically avoid Starbucks orders because those people rarely tip but drinks happen anyway. I carry a roll of Saran wrap on me. For cold drinks with straw lids, I'll take the lid off, place one layer of plastic wrap down taught and re-seat the lid. Then I'll go around the bottom and back over the lidded top a couple times, rotating 90 degrees. Hot cups, I'll just wrap outside, covering the hole. If it's more than one drink, I'll use a cardboard carrier. I usually have a rain jacket on me so I'll use that to surround the drinks and keep them from tipping in my grocery pannier. If you're using a milk crate or something like that mounted to a front or rear rack, I've seen people use bungees to hold the drinks in the 4 corners of those things.
