Nope, they're not wet! I use tire shine spray from Car Guys that I purchased from Amazon.

As for the visor this post inspired me to go in a different direction than buying a new sun visor. Maybe just add one of these:

Just bought it, hopefully when it arrives some time next week it will prove useful.
As for the headrests I left them on as my father said if someone gets injured without them I could be liable.
Edit: oh and also I'm almost at 4000km and my CVT is starting to make odd noises, like even weirder than it was new. I'm gonna be heavily relying on that 3 year warranty I just know it!
