I'd go with this one

The one I use is different but I'll be using these in the future, they seem to be better quality, and the ones I use seem to read the RPM incorrectly (though it may be because it's a 2 cylinder).

I wouldn't worry about it, if the pump says an 8hp is fine, then it should be okay. I would let the engine run for an hour or two without the pump to let it break in.

I have a screen filter first then a 20" clear housing filter with a bleed valve like so:

Geekpure Whole House Big Blue Water Filter Housing 3/4 Inch or 1-Inch Outlet/Inlet with Wrench and Bracket -4.5 Inch x 20 Inch - Clear Housing https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B077BDQGHP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Q-fnDb0NJWZZD

I use the bleed valve when I see air in the filter. Everything gets filtered down to 5 microns before entering my pump. Have to change it 3 or so times a season.

It is not a high quality machine, but the accessories look ok for 180 bucks.
Brass threads, etc.

Do yourself a favour and get some of this to wrap around the hose.

Or see if you can scab a metre or two from a hydraulic hose supplier just for the bit of hose closest to the machine where it rests on the ground.

i picked up a tub of oxiclean but im sure ill need more. i just couldnt find the ratio that people used. i was going to order something like this from amazon if i could - https://www.amazon.com/Sodium-Percarbonate-Oxidizer-Consits-Packs/dp/B00OKOFUZM/ref=sr_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1492086501&sr=8-4&keywords=sodium+percarbonate

its rough cut cedar, would the turbo be ok on that or just a regular fan tip?

I'm reading petroleum jelly will dry out o-ring if it's rubber (not sure what mine is, haven't looked)

I do have WD-40 or this silicone spray. I'm thinking maybe the silicone spray?

Alright so, what you've got there are M22 couplings -- for simplicity's sake, let's call the side with the external threading M22-A and the side with the spinning nut M22-B.

The issue is that the standard internal size is 15mm (that's the width of the stem on part M22-B and of the hole it slides into on part M22-A), but chinese machines and accessories often use 14mm for some stupid reason, causing all sorts of incompatibilities. It's a very frequent issue.

The problem you're gonna be facing if you order kits like the one you linked is that it'll only ever fit one of your connections. Instead, consider these adapters:

Attach downstream injector after the pump, but before the pressure hose. Cheaper injector, but should work for about anything most people want to do. If you want to clean dirty stuff faster, order the hi draw fixed injector online. If you want to REALLY clean dirty stuff REALLY fast, order an Xjet, or a SuperSudsSucker from Envirospec.
Link to normal downstream injector that will get you up and going: https://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Washer-UW16-PW70B3-Adjustable-Chemical/dp/B01N6JT8XZ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=downstream+injector&qid=1556070416&s=gateway&sr=8-1

Thanks for the help. I think I have the right item but the pressure rating is a problem, it says its only 300 psi. Is that ok or do I need to find something else?

What would you think about this? Instead of buying another OEM pump, I purchase a RMV25G30-EZ

Its a plunger pump with a 5-year warranty. Cost: $110.

Any thoughts as to compatibility and whether this is still a bad idea? This is for occasional home use, not commercial. Open to other manufacturers if OEM is a turd pump.
