I have a bontrager work stand and love it. It's a good place to store your bike in the garage too.

I have the non-folding version of your second option... The only thing negative I can say is that you get what you pay for. It is okay for what it is, and gets the bike up off the ground for basic maintenance and upkeep. Not exactly the best, or stable, if you need to flip the bike over something - but you will at least be able to take the tires off and clean/lube your chain.
