after wearing Nike SB dunks in lows and mids, I've always preferred the mids so that's what I went for with these. I got them in black as they would be easier to pass for more than casual events. as for scuffing I've had mine for about 6 months wearing them a couple of times a week and extensively during the past two weeks for this trip where we walked tons and hiked quite a few miles all to come back unscathed. honestly these shoes look like I just took them out of the box though I hear this is common except for the metal eyelets losing their black color and turning copper/bronze.
