A lot of 'behind the scenes' sort of stuff in this book, although from a scriptwriter's viewpoint. I have enjoyed it twice. Quite funny!

He wrote a hilarious but very interesting book about Top Gear called "And On That Bombshell"
If I remember correctly from the book by Richard Porter they work best in mess - shiny office is not good. So this should work just fine.

There also numerous amount of documentary about racing, brands...etc, but those 2 I've read and enjoyed. If he doesn't watch top gear I wouldn't recommend the second 1
