There are multiple sellers with Prime but different prices. The landing page won't always be the cheapest price - it has to do with the algorithms they have.

>This daily skin and facial hair lotion acts as an outstanding anti-itch solution and conditioner for new beard growth. For the established beard, just a dab will manage unruly strands. A perfect moisturizer for both your face and beard.

Also, the Bluebeards Beard Wash is good as well.

A couple things I recommend after having similar issues back in the day. Dandruff is from the calcium build up causing dryness. So you need to do three things: soften your water, moisturize your hair/scalp and stay hydrated.

  • Get a shower head or filter that softens your water and removes calcium. There are a lot of options from $30-$100 out there. If you want to test this before making the investment get a few gallon jugs of water from the grocery store and when you shower use those on your hair instead of tap water.
  • Moisturize your scalp/head. Once a week use oil (conconut, tea tree or olive oil all work), moisturizing conditioner and then leave in conditioner. If you have beardruff I also recommend this.
  • Stay hydrated. Drink a lot of water during the day. More than you're drinking now. Get a 32 oz nalgene and drink the entire thing twice a day. You need to fight it from the inside as well as the outside.

Honestly combating this issue is not a minimalist thing. You need to fight it on multiple fronts and to try a handful of products that will clutter your bathroom cabinet until you find a balance that works.

I've had pretty good luck with Bluebeards Beard Saver. Although it does not give much hold, thinking of trying the pomade as others have mentioned. But if interested in softening only, it might be worth a try.

I found a bottle of Aveda Botanical Kinetics Lotion in the cupbord. My wife didn't like the stuff I guess. Anyways, since growing my beard my face has been itching like crazy and was about to order some Tasmanian beard conditioner or Bluebeards Beard Saver. Well this Aveda works very well. It has a light scent and doesn't leave any residue after applying it. My face is now itch free and my beard is soft. So when you're shopping around for something new, and don't mind spending a bit more, give the Aveda a try.

Also, for a rejuvenating experience try this aveda product. It's the bee's knees for adding a new element into the grooming ritual.

Somebody commented on the smell of Bluebeard product's being similar to a urinal cake.
