So I am a complete beginner here and a friend is planning on buying me this starter pack as a gift, even though now I know that it is kind of a silly thing for a person to try to grow bonsai from seed (especially a beginner). Still though, Iāll give it my best effort and research a ton in the meantime.
Anyways, will the following trees
even have a chance at growing in Illinois, USA, Zone 5b? If any do, should I begin germinating them when I get them, or hold off until Spring?
Also, in the Wiki it says that the initial growing is critical to set the plants up for successful bonsai 5-10 years down the line. What, in particular, am I looking to do early on?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
One of my friends gifted me a Bonsai Tree Seed Starter Kit, Iām new to bonsai and was wondering if anyone else had any advice for using these kits? Thanks!
