I have owned the Bose Soundsport in-ear, and they are amazing. If you replace the tips with bose stayhear tips (with the flaps) like these, it will increase the sound quality a TON because the ones the in-ear's come in don't have the extra flap, and some of the sound quality (especially bass) is lost. The only complaint is that the audio jack isn't 90 degrees so it wears and tears pretty quickly if you sit down and bend the area near the jack.

That being said, I can't really comment on the other ones. Jaybirds are known to be exceptionally good earbuds, hoever they are notorious for their horrid customer service and their earbuds dying rather quickly (not a good combination).

edit: if you go onto their FB page, most of their comments are just disappointed customers

Bose and Amazon both have the real ones. Look for the Stay Hear + , like these (which I believe are authentic):

I agree with the SoundPeats Q30. Fantastic value for the price and stay in great. Flanges are a little uncomfortable (still playing with different sizes atm) but the fins are super comfortable.

If you want to save your Jaybirds though you do have several options.

  1. Comply Foam tips, a lot of people like them and also claim they improve sound. Consider either the comfort or isolation line. See their website to see which ones are compatible with your X3s.

  2. Buy a pair of Bose StayHear tips. Not 100% sure if they will fit on your X3s but several people have gotten them to work well on non-bose models
