I prefer bento boxes for quick access stuff. Messing with pockets on my back is a pain. I still wear jerseys but I don't keep much in there.

I'd need more time on the bike to do a good comparison between the stock tires and clement (especially because I put the stock tires of my GF's Redline hybrid and won't be getting them back!). The Clements are simply awesome when you get onto crappy/offroad surfaces and I've been constantly amazing myself with the stuff I can bomb through. They are comfortable, quiet, and fast when straight lining on pavement... Definitely don't feel like a 35mm tire with knobbies when opening up and cruising.

That said, I rode 15 miles all pavement in the city during heavy rain last week and found myself losing confidence in the tires ability to corner. The rainy season here is almost over so I won't be investing in new slicks for a while, but I think eventually I'll want something like the Schwalb marathon for city riding/maximizing contact with the road when coming in hot... I read a review that said the Clements corner exceptionally on pavement well for this type of tire, but I doubt they were testing them in PDX conditions.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and the top tube bag:

Perfect size for a phone, keys, a couple cards/bills, and a snack. I have a seat bag as well for all my repair stuff, so I got the front bag to hold all the shit that would normally be swimming in my pockets.
