But, i can also weigh in: I do the same as you, except I also have a cheapo plastic dish scrubber (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RW8TU5E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_mXG1xbMGBYXHS) and i use it only for my cast iron. Great for getting the crud off and i dont have to worry about mucking up my normal scrubbing utensils.
