The Condor Dadao is a badass chopper. Pretty damn durable, from my testing

For the $$$ (under $100) you cant find a better blade. The cost of a slab that size of heat treated 1075 High Carbon Steel alone is probably that much.
Indeed, there are quite a few decent stainless steel display ones out there for like $50 bucks (that aren't useable) but at the same time you could also find some wicked budget swords for around that same price that may not look as good. If, however, you had the money and were looking into not only good looks but also good functionality, I would honestly have to recommend Albion swords. They're pricey as hell but literally some of the best you'll ever find. There are also some more less pricey yet still functional swords out there like ones made by Windlass or Hanwei. I would honestly reccomend just browsing Kult of Athena and making sure to select 'show battle ready only' and 'sort by lowest price'. Here's a couple more that are also pretty damn good that are more of choppers but are nevertheless good. My one recommendation if you're going to search for stuff is to look at reviews and to ALWAYS avoid Cold Steel.

I have one of these, they've raised the price on it since it's so well made. Full convex grind on 1075 steel, satin polished. I took it camping a few times and had so much fine lopping off branches.
