Latest generation Intel Haswell i5 CPU, motherboard with a lot of features @ a good price, 8GB and a 1TB HDD. The GTX 770 is a really fast graphics card- it should play most games on High-Ultra with 2x AA no problem. The monitor has great specs (1080p, 2ms response time etc.), only lacks HDMI so you might want to pick this up. I have the same keyboard and for 18 pounds you can't complain. Everything else is pretty standard.

Any questions?

I had the DVI running from the monitor to my old Radeon 7770 and it worked fine. The DVI cable I use is a DVI-D Dual Link. I tried both DVI ports on the video card and neither seemed to pick up the monitor. Mind if you go a bit into more detail about the BIOS switch? Where would I find it for a graphics card? All I know about a BIOS switch is my keyboard's bios switch but that's about it.

I'm starting to think that the monitor might not be able to run at whatever the video card is trying to output. It seems to work on lower resolutions (I need to do more testing, I will get back tomorrow with results as it's already late here).

You're probably not using the right cable. You need to use D-DVI for 144hz, a cable like this

http://www.amazon.co.uk/CPO-Cable-DVI-D-Full-Monitor/dp/B002276Z12/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451378139&sr=8-1&keywords=dual+dvi+cable.

Mine came with one (BenQ XL2411Z)

Hey man, sorry to be a pain again but i have anther question which i'm hoping you can help with if you know about it.. I bought this monitor - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00GRTO7E8
And it says it is DVI-D so i bought this -
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B002276Z12/ref=pd_aw_sims_2?pi=SS115&simLd=1 as the cable to go with it, but ob the xfx graphics card it says
Output - DL-DVI-I : 1
Output - HDMI : 1
Output - mini DP : 2
Output - SL-DVI-D : 1
So does that mean i have the right cable and everything? :s :( SL-DVI-D

Right click desktop, click screen resolution, select new monitor, tick primary monitor option.

Full screen games usually capture the mouse cursor, meaning they keep it within the window, and you must alt+tab out to move the cursor onto the other monitor.
