I'm not a huge fan of the FF series, but generally orchestral interpretations of (sometimes natively orchestral) video game scores are usually pretty great.

There's the Stockholm version of it. There's money to be made, I suspect someone will want to make some.

Anytime you mention FFVII in an online forum, a massive pissing match ensues on which ones were the best.

True, better late than never. Once you get into them you will also notice how awesome the music is. If you like classical music, check out Distant Worlds I and II. Here is the torrent link from btjunkie.org. (It doesn't look like a lot of seeders but it will download overnight, most likely). It has a good selection of Nobuo Uematsu's work.
