  • Doogee: MTK6580 1.3GHz Quad Core
  • OYYU T81: MTK8321 1.3GHz Quad Core
  • NuVision: Intel Atom x5-Z8300 @ 1.44Ghz (1.84ghz burst)
  • Neutab: (unspecified) Quad Core 4 x 1.3 GHz

I skipped the RCA because they're worthless.

Honestly they're all close to comparable. They'll all be relatively fine for your needs, but may struggle with NDS and GBA (for GBA My Boy will be the only emulator that will probably full speed all games, and Drastic will need frameskip on some titles).

The NuVision you listed should be the best of the bunch by a decent margin with a burst clock rate of 1.8GHz, and that one should do GBA and NDS at full speed (Drastic isn't great on Intel, but that device will be fast enough for it), and will even do some N64 stuff just fine. It may even do some less intensive PSP games. I have a tablet with z3560 which has similar specs and can do so.

Bear in mind this is only if the reported specs are correct, I got them from an Amazon review, and finding specs on random Chinese brand devices tends to be difficult. But two different Amazon reviews specified the above info, so should be safe.

Also bear in mind that because it's intel based, some cores in Retroarch will not be compatible (and won't be listed). And that's okay, because at these clock speeds, they wouldn't run well anyway. However if you want PSX emulation, that will mean paying for ePSXe or FPse (Intel doesn't support PCSX-ReARMed on Android).

    ------

EDIT - if you're okay with a 10" device, the Dragon Touch 10 has good specs at a dirt cheap price. Eh, you can take your chances but lots of reviews saying that Dragon Touch dies early and has laggy touch screen. Good processor, bad device maybe. Also consider an Amazon Fire tablet and just rooting it and/or sideloading.

I ordered this so far I am blown away with it. It's $129.00 but I got it for $95.00 on a lightning deal.

I primarily use the emulator on my pc, but when I want to switch to the tablet I use the Dragon Touch X10 that I bought a few months ago. 8 core tablet, 1 GB RAM, minimal lag on large exploration zones, graphics amazing. Very minimal programs installed which means less to slow your tablet down.
