Your lack of airflow is hurting temps more than the 120mm AIO.

Get a 120mm dust filter and throw another intake fan on the bottom. Run the front as intake as well instead of exhaust. Put both the tops as exhaust. Also swap the radiator fan for something that performs better.

If you still have temperature issues then a custom loop is possible for $300. An EK Fluid Gaming A240 would do the trick. Just FYI, the performance isn't much better than a 240mm AIO with good fans though.

You can buy the filter material in rolls or in specific fan sizes. Here is one type of roll.

This is a bit thicker of a filter.

Here is a filter cut to 120mm fan size.

It doesn't even have to be PC-specific, just fine enough to capture dust.

God. Might wanna invest in some dust filters

I live in cleveland with hard water. Seems odd to me.

I'm going to suggest making certain you have positive pressure on your air flow; more air wanting to come in than out. This means air will only come in from where the fans are sucking air in. Next google and choose filters of your liking. I use fun tact to hold the linked below dust screens. My dust issues are pets and city air.

You may wish to consider that salt is corrosive. You may wish to trade off one dust for the other. Even with some filtering and positive pressure the salt can be an issue. Weigh this against how long you figure you will keep the computer and computer case. You may also, if you are ok with spending a bit more, going liquid cooled. You can have sealed case with a radiator moving filtered air.

It might seem gross; but have you tasted the dust to test for saltiness?

That would work. Or just get something like this assuming you've covering 120mm fan intakes.

Amazon or wherever, these are those fine filters, they're almost like nylons or something, they collect everything.

Here are less fine filters but super cheap.

Foam ones are like this.

The better the filter, the cleaner your case will be, but the more often you'll have to clean filters, and the worse your airflow will be (especially if they get dirty).

My temps were pretty good on carpet though, and I never noticed any buildup of carpet stuff, just the regular dust on the edge of fan blades and stuff.

You could use these ones, if your fans are 120mm. Or if they're 140mm just look for the 140mm ones, these aren't magnetic and they have the holes made already.
