Skate tool is necessity, I need it every time I have to tighten my skates or change wheels which is semi-often.
The teeth whitening kit isn't really that exciting, but it's a reward I want for myself since I quit smoking 64 days ago, after 8 years, cold turkey.
That sucks man. I had a similar situation not too long ago. Luckily for me, my board didn't suffer too much.
BUT, I can help you at least a little bit! My trucks were also bent during that incident, and all it requires is a little bit of loosening and re-tightening using a standard skate tool.
