Deal is also available at Amazon XB1/PS4 $39.99
and at Jet for XB1 only $39.99

EDIT: Try to bump this to the top so everyone gets a chance to see the other deals. Every I try to add other text in sub heading it vanishes. Thanks.

Better?

Price is same for xbox. Amazon just defaulted to the PS4. This deal has been live for several days now.

Witcher 3 $35 on Amazon - ultimate sale price on Xbox One is $25.

Rise of the Tomb Raider $35 on Amazon - ultimate sale price on Xbox One is $30

Fallout 4 $30 on Amazon - ultimate sale price is $30

seems to me all those ultimate sale deals rival if not beat the physical price..

EDIT: also this sub has been clamoring for better digital prices and now we get them and everyone is unhappy

> 4 removed even more of what the series was known for, combined with technical issues, it created a much larger than normal amount of backlash when compared to the previous Fallout games.

I already addressed everything you already said about 3 in the post you replied to. The point is that 3 had issues but was acceptable, 4 crossed a line.

Do this for me, google "fallout 4 user scores" and notice how every result is a forum thread with people asking why the scores are messed up.

> Deservedly so. Sure it's polished and has great consumer practices. But it lacks a lot. It's mp only, has few game modes and maps, it's totally overrated. Goty awards mean shit and many people vocally disagree. Every thread about it winning goty is about just that. It's solid, fresh and fun but it is seriously lacking.

No offense, but no one asked how you felt about the game, it has no bearing on anything here. Notice how I'm not saying Fallout 4 is a good game? I never once defended it's quality, and I think that maybe what's happening here is everyone thinks I'm defending it, but I'm not. I'm just pointing out that most people liked it, and that the "everyone hates Fallout 4" pov doesn't hold much weight.

> You haven't proven anything. Metacritic has games with high user review scores. People are just a bit more harsh and don't always consider a 7 a bad review. Publications consider anything under 8 as just okay. Most people consider a 7 good, not great. Even a 6 isn't necessarily a bad score.

You say "most people" a lot but offer no way of proving that. Citations please.

Literally the only thing people ever do to try and prove that it's a widely disliked game is post the metacritic user scores and then their own anecdotal evidence about how they see a lot of people trash talking it. I post much more user scores than that and point out things like sales and the popularity it's retained (as evidenced by GameFAQS, a site that gets much more traffic than metacritic), and then I get told my evidence isn't good enough for some reason, even though it's more substantial than the evidence belonging to those I'm debating with. I can't win this argument in your eyes because literally anything I do to back myself up is going to disagree with this community's narrative. I could probably come in here with a peer reviewed study and people would still ask for more. Like, I'm done with this. If this doesn't convince you, fuck it, I tried.

Good deal if on consoles and haven't picked it up yet.

I wouldn't read too much into such a big discount so soon after launch - Amazon also had Fallout 4 for a sizeable discount soon after launch (PS4 price history, XB1 price history, launch date was November 10 2015) and also discounted Witcher 3 (PS4 price history, XB1 price history, launch date was May 19 2015) though not quite as quickly.

My gf bought the game for me a couple weeks ago for $17.99(USD) on amazon. I just checked again and it went back up to $30.00(USD). I'd say wait until on sale.
