That bungee is pretty crap. The Zowie Camade is super solid, I have one and it's fantastic. There's a knock off on Amazon for $6 cheaper.

I see no reason to not have both paracord and a bungee. For some a Bungee offers less benefit but there are no cons to using one that I'm aware of and the only thing that both paracord and a bungee do is reduce cable drag. If his cable is hitting his monitor or most of it is hanging off the back of his desk paracord won't do much at all.

Personally if I did it over again, I would just go with one of the cheap bungees. A mouse bungee is a mouse bungee imo. The more expensive ones like the Camade and its knockoff do the same thing as the $8 bungee I posted. Hell I have a buddy that tapes his mouse cord to his monitor and it serves the same function.

This is my first one so I may not be the best to ask, but I really like this one. you may wanna look into other options if you don't have a rubber cable. The threaded ones tend to be a little thicker and this thing is a tight squeeze.

I do like it my cable used to catch on my other mouse, keyboard, compressor etc every now and then so I tried this out. Nice to not have to worry about it. Can always go with the cheaper route of taping the cable to your monitor. But here is the one I’m using if you’re interested in checking it out.
