Many Z Wave and Zigbee switches and dimmers do support three-way switches and beyond. The back of the GE box says you can have up to five switches.

I'm commenting about GE's because those are what I know. But I'm pretty sure others do it as well.

+1 for GE's z-wave switches if you have or are getting a z-wave compatible hub to run them. You need one "control" switch for each light circuit and one or more add-on switches for the other spots that control the same light. Here's a dimmer set and an on/off only set, which both contain one control switch and one add-on switch. These individual switches can also each be found separately online to purchase individually for your circuit that needs 3 switches, and sometimes they're cheaper individually but should work the same.
