Nice! I really like how you adapted it to also work for flight experiences.

You might consider a giant fan to go in front like this. It makes open cockpit flight and driving stuff seem all the more real. I have yet to figure out how to put it under speed control, though, so I turn it on and off with my foot, which is still pretty good.

This is the fan I bought It's a bit noisy, but I don't notice with my headphones on (more of a concern to others in the room). Edit: Apparently this is not the fan I bought, as Amazon is showing somethign slightly different, though similar.

I also have a butkicker to vibrate the seat, for yet more immersion. I'm a bit disappointed with how hard it was to get working with Project Cars using Sim Commander. I eventually gave up and just T-d the audio for my headphones into the butt kickers, and found that still to be a surprisingly good experience - picking up on the low frequencies of driving over rumble strips and such in a way that is more realistic than I would have expected for simply mirroring my audio. My butt kickers worked even better for Assetto Corsa, since I could get them properly configured using Sim Commander, but I stopped playing AC due to it's awkward menu and lack of official Vive support. Note: If you go the "butt kicker" route, you might research alternate brands. I bought two of them, and one of them burned out already. I am not convinced it is the best brand, but I am convinced that extra vibrations are worth it.

As far as experience recommendations go, I am a big fan of Project Cars, but you already have that. You might look at DCS world for a flight simulator, though it's got awkward menus and it's a bit hard to do all the keyboard stuff. Still, once you are flying, its quite compelling. A better VR experience, though a lesser flight simulator (but still quite good) is "AeroFly FS2". Both of these are on Steam.

Edit: You might also look at iRacing and rFactor. I do not have any personal experience with these, though, so cannot comment further.

Also, for those of you wondering, the PlaySeat is really quite nice. Sounds like a toy, but I'm really happy with mine. I really like that I can adjust it to match the kind of car I am driving and it is quite comfy. My setup also uses the Thrustmaster T500 RS racing wheel, which I like a lot, though I do not know if it is "the best", since I have nothing else I have compared it to.
