If you have a Les Paul body or any that have the Jack on the bottom of your guitar I recommend these plugs: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CX5AN7K/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_Pzxzub1BPKZFX

Since I'm pretty sure my cable failure was due to pinching my cable when I sat my guitar down.

You can buy the plugs 4 for $10 and put them on any length of cable you like.

If the problem is at the triggervend of the cable, you could cut and redo the plug end with [a new connector end](GLS Audio 1/4" Right Angle Plugs TS Mono Flat Low Profile Pancake Style for Speaker Cables, Patch Cables, Snakes - Male 1/4 Inch Phono 6.3mm Phone Plug Bulk - 4 PACK https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CX5AN7K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_W3dJzbCSY3NZQ) just keep in mind the tight space on the cymbal where the jack is, it might be tough finding one that fits. Also be sure to get a TRS tip so you don't lose a zone accidentally.

It's probably the cheapest fix, but maybe not the best.
