I finally ditched my ratty old backpack for a real range bag. Arrived yesterday.

Its not very big but it neatly fits everything I could think to put in it and I didn't spend much.

I have this one and I've used pretty roughly for about a year and it still looks brand new. No tears, zippers all work great etc. It has inserts in the main compartment so you can divide it in 3. The sides have removable padded slips for your guns. I like it quite a bit. I also have this Browning bag and it's okay, but I prefer the Gunmate. I think the Browning is more of an Ammo bag because it doesn't have a specific spot for guns. Honestly, it sort of just sits in my closet full of ammo. Anyway, hope this helps.

EDIT: I remembered my one gripe with the Gunmate... No magazine holders. I really wish it had about 5-6 of them. I went and looked at the MidwayUSA bags and I'm contemplating buying THIS bag.

My pistol range bag came with two pistol rugs/sleeves ( you can see them in the customer images). I just place my pistol ontop of one of those when I'm leaving it on the table at the range. I would just purchase a rifle cleaning mat if you want to fit four pistols on one mat that is rollable. I ordered this mat from a calguns member, shipped fast and low price. You could also order a XXL extended mouse pad

Those and a box of q-tips plus a toothbrush and maybe some rags make a great cleaning kit. For a light, you'll want to get a streamlight tlr-1 or tlr-3, but they are both closer to $100. You might also want to get a little safe for her, a mini gunvault would work well. And ammo... must have the ammo!

You might also want a range bag to keep your hearing/eye protection, ammo, and pistol in.

And sometimes I find that muff aren't enough which I saw you bought. I like to wear these sometimes by themselves or under muffs.

I take out the yellow end and they make really nice, compact, and effective hearing protection. And they're reusable of course.

I like GORUCK shit as much as anyone, but a cheap range bag from Amazon will probably last you a good long while and save money you can spend on training and ammo.

This what I use. I keep the pistols in the side pockets, locked with a small travel master lock. Unloaded mags unloaded in the main compartment along with Ammo. All goes in the trunk
