I like it because it's easy to clean, has the right features but doesn't try to do too much, and is easy to lock in place compared to some other models.
I have been using this one for the last 3 years and it's taken some abuse (2x weekly use, falling out of the back of my car) and still going strong. I'm generally pretty happy with Hamilton Beach appliances for the price.
