I used a CCTV camera style mount that I stuck to the ceiling. You can either screw them in or even just use 3M command strips to hold them up.

I picked up the same stuff and to my surprise it would not stick to the rubber bottom of the DK2 camera. Almost like it was made of teflon. I ended getting this wall mount from amazon. It worked fine but I was still too close to the camera so I picked up a cheap 1' tripod from bestbuy and setting it to the far left of my desk behind my TV and its been working fine.

They seem to be. You could use 2-3 on some kind of ball camera mount and then additional strips down the cable at intervals. Would be unlikely that you would lose them all at once. USB cameras are pretty durable anyways.

I use this one and have glued magnets in various places. It is cheap, convenient, and effective I think.
