This is the one I'm watching, waiting for it to go back down to $150 (I saw it at that price a month ago and didn't grab it, I thought they were just going cheaper because of 5k displays... stupid me. $50 is worth the wait for me. I don't know if I can swing 250 right now anyway.

You have a pretty solid computer sir, congratulations. This build is very similar to mine in price, which only has the 6600k and Z170 motherboard, and. I have the same PSU and keyboard/mouse as you too and will also be getting the R480x!

These might be the closest you can get:

Dell UltraSharp U2414H

Dell Ultrasharp U2417HJ

Philips 276E6ADSS

ASUS Designo MX239H - no idea how accurate its color is though

HP Pavilion 27xw

To the best of my knowledge, everything aside from the ASUS is at least 96% sRGB.

Awesome, thanks so much!!! And yes, I have a nice widescreen HP Pavilion 27xw monitor that I would be connected to when at home, so technically I would have zero problem placing the computer on a ventilated stand and putting a fan underneath it, pointing up. Never done stuff like that so I will have to figure it out, but I'm sure the YouTube videos will help! Can't thank you enough for the thorough response!

I use the 25 inch version of this and its pretty good.

Here you go, friend! 1050ti is pretty solid - I've had a great experience with Skyrim. 50 FPS on high settings - graphics are amazing in comparison to PS3 (but obviously that's not difficult to do).

Was looking at this one on Amazon

I currently bought this one but do you know if this would work with a dual monitor set up? Thats what I kinda want too

u/supakana · 1 pointr/Surface

I just left it at the recommended 1920 x 1080. The monitor I'm using is this one (which was $30 more expensive when I bought it two months ago but... Ugh. I guess that's life)

I haven't noticed any slow-downs in regular (chrome/oneNote) use. But when I pull out arcMap/arcCatalog, it does slow a tiny bit, moreso with each layer (but that's normal with this program, even with my uni's brand new machines).

This is the one I have and it works great for everything including gaming. And to my surprise it's 199.99. I recommend it highly.
